There were a few things I had to in preparation for this wedding. Brush, floss, and whiten my teeth. When you are photographing the wedding of two dentists who fell in love, you have to show up with your best smile forward.
Katy + Reid = First Presbyterian Church Nashville Wedding
Katy and Reid are two incredibly sweet and thoughtful people, and are perfect for each other. Apparently, they are also very lucky because it rained a lot on their wedding day. Luckily, they got married at First Presbyterian church here in Nashville so we were able to make it work until the rained passed through.
Morgan + Aaron = Harlinsdale Farm Engagement Session
I've known Morgan for a long time so I was incredibly excited when I got an email asking if I could shoot her wedding. Her and Aaron are such a fun couple and we had a blast on the engagement session. The only rule was 'no cheesy photos of us kissing while leaning over a fence'. I told her I was confident we could avoid the pose haha.
Morgan + Tee = Clementine Wedding in Nashville, TN
Hannah + Brandon = Cincinnati, Ohio Wedding
I first met Brandon when I got to photograph his sister's wedding. His family is one of the most amazing and thoughtful families I have ever met, so I knew that Hannah was going to be awesome too. I was right. Hannah and Brandon are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met.
Hannah was quick to tell me that she might be a little slow with emails leading up to the wedding because she was heading to Africa for a mission trip and wasn't getting back until a week or two before the wedding. I started laughing immediately. I've never had a bride go to Africa on a mission trip so close to her wedding date. Luckily, she came back malaria free and with a nice glow from the African sun.
Hannah and Brandon had their ceremony at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church, which is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. I loved that they did a exit from the church because it was such a fun moment and created some really great photos. After knocking out some killer portraits we headed to Drees pavilion which sits on a hilltop that overlooks the city, and is basically the perfect place for a wedding reception.
It was such a blessing and fun experience to celebrate with these two amazing people. Enjoy the photos!
