Catherine and Noah are such a sweet couple. These high school sweethearts are getting married at Milkyway Farm so we got to use the property for their engagement session. It had been several years since the last time I got to shoot at Milkyway Farm and I was so happy to be back for this beautiful couple's session.
When one of your best friends asks you to photograph him proposing to the girl of his dreams, you do it. I've only shot one proposal before this. It was winter, in the dead of night, the temperature was about 35 degrees, and we were deep in the woods on a candle lit trail. It was difficult to say the least. This was difficult in a different way.
It's hard to feel like you are working when you know pretty much every single person at the wedding. Danielle and Ben are one of those couples you see get engaged on Facebook and secretly hope they reach out to you about shooting their wedding. They are such a fun couple and their wedding was every ounce of fun I thought it would be.
I was so honored to spend the day with this sweet and wonderful couple. I've known Bethany for about 16 years now and I always wondered who was going to be the lucky guy that took her off the market. I knew it had to be someone awesome and Michael definitely fits the bill. Their wedding would best be described as a Spring- Winter-wonderland. The flowers were in bloom, but they were covered with remnants of snow from the morning. They had the ceremony at Granny White Church of Christ followed by a reception at Traveller's Rest. The reception was almost like a mini college reunion and I had a blast. So excited for you guys!!
