Gray turned the big 1 on July 27th. It also happened to coincide with my high school reunion. I went to high school at the American International School of Johannesburg, but after graduation people kind of went all over the world so NYC seemed as good a place as any to have the reunion. Gray had his first taxi ride, flight, and birthday all on the same day. Here are some photos of the amazing few days we spent in NYC.
Rachel + Chris = Michigan Wedding
I had so much fun traveling up to Michigan to spend the weekend with Rachel and Chris for their beautiful wedding. All of their family and friends were so welcoming and laid back...my favorite type of people to spend a weekend with. The wedding and reception were at Meadow Brook Hall which is best described in my words as a Mansion-Castle. It is also a National Historic Landmark which doesn't sound nearly as cool as Mansion-Castle. A special thanks to my friend Jake Reeves from Betwixt Magnolias for connecting me with Rachel and Chris. I am so happy for you guys!

Jill + Logan + Baby = Nashville Maternity Shoot
I love these two so much and can't wait to meet their sweet little girl! Besides having Jill and Logan as dear friends, I have also been invited to capture the big events in their life from engagement, to marriage, to dog-ownership, and now to parenthood. It's been so much fun to document this amazing couple and the love they have for each other. They are going to be phenomenal parents and I am so happy and excited for them. Rachel + Chris = U of Michigan Engagement
I had so much fun getting to spend the weekend with this amazing couple in the Ann Arbor area of Michigan. We did a shoot the day before the wedding at the University of Michigan where Rachel got her undergrad.
Kaitlynn + Burton = Carnton Plantation Wedding
I love this couple. They are so sweet, absolutely crazy about each other, and love to laugh. This of course makes for great photos and a beautiful laid back wedding day. They also happened to have some of the cutest kids in the world at the wedding including Burton's nephew and some random baby that looks a lot like myself.
