I loved everything about this wedding. Take an amazing couple that is totally in love, throw in an all-star team of wedding vendors, add a bunch of my friends, and finish it off with a beautiful location and you get the wedding you see below. I've know Daley for almost 10 years now and she is one of the sweetest and most sincere people I know so I was confident that her future husband was going to be a pretty awesome dude. She did not disappoint. The wedding was so laid back and beautiful. Daley wore her Mom's dress which I think is so awesome. A special shout out to the vendors that helped make this wedding so beautiful: Jennifer Hamilton from Mr. and Mrs. Events, Jill Hartline from LemonTree Paper Co., and Rickey from Ode Floral.
Cara + Seth = Sneak Peek
I'm sitting in a hotel in Savannah, GA right now due to a cancelled flight so I thought I would share some photos of these beautiful people.
Susan + Chris = Nashville Wedding Sneak Peak
Susan and Chris had their beautiful wedding at West End United Methodist and their reception at Richland Country Club. They are both so sweet and I loved getting to spend the day with them. I love any bride that is still smiling as she watches the rain outside on her wedding day. I want to give a special thank you to Elizabeth Bacon for connecting me with this awesome couple.
Lemonade from Lemons
Sometimes people tell me I am so lucky to be shooting in such beautiful places and that if they could shoot in awesome locations their photos would be so much better. The truth of the matter is that most of the weddings I shoot are not in the most beautiful places. I do luck out sometimes with an amazing photogenic couple getting married in a magical meadow, but when that does happen 5% of the time I still arrive to discover that most of the magical meadow has been recently mowed down (last weekends wedding). Wedding photographers have to make Lemonade out of Lemons. Sometimes this means finding the one place with awesome light and getting as much variety out of that one place. Sometimes it means moving the trash can that was sitting next to the vending machine and having a bride stand in the window. This shot was taken at a Holiday Inn Express right outside the elevators...next to the vending machines.
