Kelly + Kyle = Kentucky Wedding

I've been spending more time than usual in Paducah this year thanks to wonderful couple.  And by 'more time than usual' I mean I went to Paducah for the first and second time of my life this year.  Kelly just finished her schooling to become a Physician's Assistant and Kyle is an organic farmer.  They even had some of his homegrown mixed salad at the reception.  The Ceremony was held at the Broadway Methodist church downtown and the reception was held at Kelly's parent's beautiful home.  I loved all the details in this wedding and everything came together to make the perfect wedding for the Farmer and his Wife.

Rachel + Cory = Nashville Engagement Session

I can't wait to photograph this awesome couple;s wedding later this year.  Rachel and Cory are a super sweet couple and I really enjoyed getting to spend the day with them.  They get extra cool points for braving the 90 degree heat.  We started the shoot at Union Station because it was shaded and also happens to be the place they are having their wedding.  We then headed around downtown Nashville and finished up around Steeple Chase.  Cory is a golfer so we ended the shoot on the golf course.  I had to chase down a teenager who was apparently very confused by my request to borrow his putter for a few photographs.  The awkward interaction was well worth the results.  Rachel isn't very good at golf but I'm confident she will get better with a few more lessons from her future husband.

Madison + Jeremy = Wonderful Chattanooga Wedding

I've had a lot of fun getting to know Madison + Jeremy.  I think Chattanooga is beautiful so I was excited about photographing their wedding at Camp Dixie.  I was also excited to hear that Madison had been working on her "smize" (smiling with your eyes).  Personally, I think she nailed it.  We started the day at Madison's mom's salon.  Her mom did her hair which I thought was pretty awesome.  I asked how many times she had done her hair and they couldn't even begin to count.   Their ceremony was held under a giant tree overlooking the water.  The tree reminded me of my favorite childhood story "The Giving Tree."  Everyone was so fun and enjoyable to be around which made for a really laid back day of shooting.  I also got to meet Michael who follows my blog, was shooting video for the wedding, and is a great photographer.  He photographed a wedding at Camp Dixie a few weeks before and helped me out with some of the best locations.  Madison + Jeremy congrats on your new life together.  I am so excited for you guys!

Lemon Tree Paper Co.

If you are recently engaged you need to contact Lemon Tree Paper Co. right now and talk to Jill Hartline about custom designing beautiful wedding invitations and programs for you.  Did I mention that they are Custom Design!  That means nobody else in the world is going to be using your invitation template.  You are one of a kind and your wedding invitations should be too. Jill and her husband Logan are really good friends and are also the most talented graphic designers that I know.  I was so excited to hear that Jill was designing invites and wedding day programs because I always end up photographing the paper goods on a wedding day and love seeing beautiful and unique work from other artists.  If you follow my work you may recognize Jill and Logan from my blog because they were married this past January.  The work below speaks for itself, but it also helps that Jill is super fun to work with and has an amazing talent to make your ideas for your wedding products become a reality.  Check out more of her work on her site at http://www.lemontreepaperco.com/
