Maggie Rose Music Video
I have some awesome/talented friends. Two of those friends are Tyler and David over at Yeah Yeah Creative. About 2 months ago I got to help them out with a music video for the amazingly talented Maggie Rose. I did the lighting for the video. It was such a fun day and I loved getting to collaborate with other creatives to make this happen. Here are stills I snapped and the music video:

Coming Home
Gray has been trying to escape out the front door so we thought it was about time to return to the USA. Two weeks in Italy has been amazing but we are ready to get back to our friends, family, and life in Nashville. We feel so blessed to have taken this trip together. If you want to know what it is like to travel internationally with a 1-year-old please feel free to send me an email and I can give you the hard facts. If you haven't been to Florence, you should come. It is beautiful.
One of My Favorite Moments...
...in a wedding ceremony. The more time I have spent as a parent the more I have come to understand just how emotional and meaningful this day must be for parents. I feel so blessed that I get to witness moments like this and the ones that take place before and after. I shoot a lot of weddings in dark churches so I was happy to have perfect lighting for this shot.
Adventures in Italy
We're in Italy! We have been here for a full week and absolutely love it. Lacy and I have both been here before but we wanted to stay for an extended amount of time and really get a feel for the city of Florence and all it has to offer. Extended Amount of Time = Bring our 1 Year Old. Getting to and around Italy with Gray has been quite the adventure but totally worth getting to experience this trip together. We are staying in an apartment in the heart of Florence about 3 miuntes walk from the Duomo. You can actually see it if you crawl up on the roof of our apartment (which I did tonight). It is amazing and has lots of crawling space for Gray plus two bedrooms so he has his own room to crash in at night. After spending a full week here we really feel like we have seen every museum and standard tourist site in the city so now we can just relax and enjoy our last five days here in Florence. Tomorrow we plan on taking it easy and Friday we will rent a car and drive through the wine region of Chianti down to Sienna. The biggest challenge of the trip has definitely been monitoring the amount of pasta and gelato that we allow to enter our bodies. Here are a few photos from the trip:
