I first met Esther when she was a bridesmaid at one of my favorite weddings ever in Antigua, Guatemala. I couldn’t have been more excited when she reached out to me about shooting her wedding in Tennessee at Long Hollow Gardens! I was so curious to meet her fiancé because I knew he was going awesome.
Josh and Esther met in Guatemala on a dental medical mission trip. Until recently, Esther was living in the Pacific Northwest which made reconnecting in person difficult, but It was so fun getting to sit down with Josh over coffee and hear about their story and how crazy in love he is with Esther.
It is no coincidence that Esther’s middle name is Joy. It is written all over her face. The entire day was so fun and full of laughter, joy, and juggling. Yes…juggling. This was a first for me but definitely made the day a lot more fun. Unfortunately we had some crazy rain come through which slowed things down for a bit, but after the ceremony the sun came out and we were able to get some beautiful shots. I had an absolute blast getting to spend the day with these two wonderful humans and couldn’t be more excited for them to start their lives together.
