Shawnee and Rob are amazing….that’s it…they’re amazing. I had so much fun getting to spend the day with them. We started the day at The Graduate hotel where Queen Dolly was on display and I took it as a sign that the entire day was going to be 10/10. We spent the day shooting around Vanderbilt and Downtown before heading over to 100 Taylor for an incredibly sweet ceremony and a big ol’ party of a reception. They brought some friends along to take care of the music for the day and they did not disappoint. The entire day was laid back but also full of personalities, laughter, and happy tears….my favorite kind of day. If you don’t know these two personally you are missing out, but at least you can get a glimpse into their awesomeness below.
Lexie + Ben = Scarritt Bennett Wedding
Besides having snow for their spring wedding, Lexie and Ben’s wedding was absolutely perfect. Their day was full or laughter, love, and some of the cutest kids I’ve ever seen. Lexie and Ben are two of the most genuine and thoughtful people I have met and it was such an honor to photograph their wedding. It was also pretty cool that Lexie’s uncle was the doctor that delivered our youngest son about 2 months before their wedding. I’m so excited for these two and can’t wait to see what kind of life they build together.
Kendall + Thomas = Cathedral of the Incarnation Nashville Wedding
Wow…what a fun day full of laughter and a ton of personality. Kendall and Thomas are some of the most fun and genuine people I have ever met and their wedding day was a blast. I’m so excited for these two wonderful humans and so grateful I got to capture their wedding. Also, shout out to these amazing vendors that made it all happen.

Kat + Doug = Hermitage Hotel + First Presbyterian Church Wedding
Kat and Doug are some of the sweetest and thoughtful people I have ever met. It was such a joy to get to spend the weekend with them and all their family and friends. We started off at The Hermitage Hotel which is my favorite hotel in Nashville…and not just because it’s where I spent the night after my own wedding. They had their ceremony at First Presbyterian which is a special church with lots of memories for Kat and Doug. We ended the night at Hillwood Country club where I got to witness a killer party and catch up with the parents of some of my past wedding clients. Such a fun night!

Laurel + Bobby = Nashville Engagement Session
Talking about how long I’ve known Laurel makes me feel old…so let’s just say it’s been a long time. I first met Laurel through her Grandfather, a man I have a lot of respect for, when we worked in ministry together. I’ve gotten to see her over the years at weddings as a guest and bridesmaid and always wondered who the lucky guy would be that snatched her up…well done Bobby. It was a cold January day for their shoot, but these two absolutely crushed their engagement session. I can’t wait to celebrate with them in Florida in a few months!
