Jana + Bernie = Tennessee Farm Wedding

Wow…what an amazing day full of amazingly wonderful people. I couldn’t ask for a better couple to kick off this wedding season with. Jana and Bernie are so sweet and so fun and absolutely perfect for each other. They decided to get married at the same farm her brother David got married at about 9 years ago…which I also got to photograph. David and Heidi now have three beautiful girls who got to be the flower girls. This made me feel incredibly old and extremely grateful. One of the biggest honors in my job is to be asked back to photograph a wedding for the same family.

Thank you two for trusting me to photograph your wedding and I am so excited for you.

Christina + Stuart = Mint Springs Farm Wedding

Christina and Stuart had the perfect day for their gorgeous wedding at Mint Springs Farm. If there was ever a groom that loved his bride with all his heart, it is Stuart. It was so beautiful to see how overwhelmed he was throughout the day with love he has for Christina and the love they felt from all their friends and family. The happy tears throughout the day said it all.

Christina looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day, and I think it is safe to say the bridesmaids agree based on their reaction when they saw her for the first time. The whole day was totally laid back and an absolute blast. Christina and Stuart are deeply involved with their Cross Fit gym and have built an amazing community there. Cross Fit peeps know how to throw down in all the best kind of ways. There was no shortage of moments to capture at the reception. I’m so happy for this wonderful couple and incredibly thankful I got to capture their wedding day.

Kelley + Ryan = Nashville Elopement at The Vandyke

Nashville Elopement

After several changes to their plans, Kelley and Ryan finally got to have an amazing wedding day. With a change of venue and guest size they landed at The Vandyke is East Nashville and had their ceremony on the rooftop. They had a small amount of guests, many who traveled from all over the country to be there. Ryan got a special surprise when his best friend, who wasn’t suppose to make it, took Kelley’s place for the (first) first look. They ended the night hanging out with delicious food and drinks watching the sun set over downtown Nashville. It was a perfect day.

Nicole + Alex = Cheekwood Engagement Session

Cheekwood Engagement Session

I love always love shooting at Cheekwood, but especially when it’s with a couple like Nicole and Alex. It’s pretty easy to tell by the photos but we laughed the whole time. We had the perfect fall day for their engagement session. They were even brave enough to walk across some uneven rocks by the water which I soon learned could have made the session take a very different turn. Everything turned out just fine though. I am so excited I get to shoot their wedding! Enjoy the photos.

Megan + Lee = Nashville Cathedral of the Incarnation Wedding

Nashville Wedding Photographer

Another amazing wedding despite Covid trying it’s best to mess with love. Meg and Lee got married at The Cathedral of the Incarnation and had the reception at his parents house. We started the day off at Hillwood Country Club where the ladies got ready before heading over to the church for the ceremony. Meg and Lee are such a fun couple so of course their wedding party was a blast too.

We had a nice gap between the ceremony and reception so we made the short trip over to Vanderbilt’s campus for some photos. It’s been awhile since I have shot on Vandy’s campus and I almost forgot how beautiful it is. The entire day was incredibly laid back and full of laughter. A huge shout out to Jayne Bubis Events for creating such a beautiful reception and making the day run like clockwork.
