Evy + Donnie = Scarritt Bennett and Musicians Hall of Fame Wedding

Nashville Wedding Photographer

If I could have planned a wedding and chosen a couple to end the year with, it would be this one! I feel like I have known Donnie forever because he has been a groomsman at more weddings I have photographed than I can count. Evy and Donnie’s wedding reception felt like a Justin Wright Photography couples reunion in all the best ways.

I was so excited to meet Evy ever knowing Donnie for so long. She is one of the sweetest and most beautiful people I have ever met. She did have a slight advantage out of the gate because I love photographing red heads. Her and Donnie are so perfect for each other. Donnie absolutely lost it when he saw Evy and walking down the aisle which created a ripple effect amongst all the family and friends…and maybe even a photographer or two.

The entire day was so laid back, fun, and pretty much perfect. I’m just going to shut up now and let you enjoy the photos.

Thanks to all the amazing vendors that made this day happen:

Jenna + David = Tucker's Gap Event Center Wedding

It was so much fun getting to spend the day with Jenna and David for their beautiful wedding at Tucker’s Gap Event Center. It was the perfect fall day for an outdoor wedding. I am so excited for these two wonderful people to start their lives together. There’s a lot more I could say about these two, but it’s the day after Thanksgiving and I have turkey hangover so I’m going to go take a nap. Enjoy the photos!

Darcy + Jeff = Saddle Woods Farm Wedding

Saddle Woods Farm

Saddle Woods Farm is one of my favorite venues and it was the perfect location for Darcy and Jeff’s wedding. Darcy grew up riding horses so it was a natural fit to have them everywhere and anywhere possible on her wedding day. Darcy and Jeff met close to 30 years ago at a friends wedding and after walking through life as friends for so long their stories took a turn, they reconnected, and here we are today! I’m so thankful I got to photograph these two wonderful people and all their family and friends.

Bridgette + Brett = Nashville Wedding

nashville wedding photographer

Bridgette and Brett are amazing people and also happen to be friends of mine. It’s always fun getting to work with people I know well, and especially when it means getting to shoot their incredibly fun wedding. We started the day in one of the coolest suites I have ever seen at The Westin in downtown Nashville. It had a killer view of the city, a bathtub in the bedroom, and a pool table. After everyone was ready, we headed downtown for some photos of Bridgette and Brett before we headed to the ceremony. It was fun watching Bridgette be a bride, but still having the occasional mom duties throughout the day. The reception was a blast and the folks at Berry Hill Chiropractic sure know how to throw down. Enjoy the photos!

Katie + Thy = NYC Engagement Session

Katie and I went to high school together in South Africa, so I couldn’t have been more exited to get a message from her when she got engaged. We went to an international school so when our class graduation people went all over the world. Katie eventually ended up in NYC where she met Thy. They are getting married in Austin, Texas next year but we did their engagement session in NYC. This was my first time shooting in NYC and I absolutely loved it. It definitely has a different vibe than shooting in the open fields of Tennessee, but I loved the busyness of the city and all the gorgeous architecture. I had so much fun exploring Central Park and the city with these two and can’t wait for the wedding next year.
