I've known Morgan for a long time so I was incredibly excited when I got an email asking if I could shoot her wedding. Her and Aaron are such a fun couple and we had a blast on the engagement session. The only rule was 'no cheesy photos of us kissing while leaning over a fence'. I told her I was confident we could avoid the pose haha.
Morgan + Tee = Clementine Wedding in Nashville, TN
Hannah + Brandon = Cincinnati, Ohio Wedding
I first met Brandon when I got to photograph his sister's wedding. His family is one of the most amazing and thoughtful families I have ever met, so I knew that Hannah was going to be awesome too. I was right. Hannah and Brandon are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met.
Hannah was quick to tell me that she might be a little slow with emails leading up to the wedding because she was heading to Africa for a mission trip and wasn't getting back until a week or two before the wedding. I started laughing immediately. I've never had a bride go to Africa on a mission trip so close to her wedding date. Luckily, she came back malaria free and with a nice glow from the African sun.
Hannah and Brandon had their ceremony at Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church, which is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. I loved that they did a exit from the church because it was such a fun moment and created some really great photos. After knocking out some killer portraits we headed to Drees pavilion which sits on a hilltop that overlooks the city, and is basically the perfect place for a wedding reception.
It was such a blessing and fun experience to celebrate with these two amazing people. Enjoy the photos!
Madison + Kevin = Scarritt Bennett Wedding
I always love shooting at Scarritt Bennett but it gets even better when I get to shoot their with couples like Madison and Kevin. They are such a sweet and thoughtful couple and their entire wedding day was absolutely perfect. They were surrounded by amazing friends and family throughout the entire day which is exactly who you want to be with on your wedding.
We started the day with the girls at an amazing condo downtown with a view of the Nashville skyline. It had huge windows and a ton of space which made for the perfect 'getting ready' location. I loved their extremely personal ceremony. The reception was at Scarritt Bennett which was a first for me because most couples have it at a second location. I loved staying on site because it gave us a lot of extra time for portraits after the ceremony.
Thank you so much for having me at your wedding and I can't thank you enough for letting me tell your wedding day story!
Catherine + Connor = Riverwood Mansion Wedding
I’ve been really excited about Catherine and Connor’s wedding ever since we got to hang out at ML Rose over drinks. They are such a fun couple and their wedding at Riverwood Mansion was a blast.
