After getting rained out a few times we decided to brave the weather for a mini session so Courtney and Phillip can get a 'save the date' out. Ironically, we had a beautiful day for this session, but are still going to shoot again once Spring rolls around. These two are so fun and I couldn't be more excited to shoot their wedding in Chicago next year.
Emily + Clay = Nashville Engagement Session
It was a beautiful but chilly day for Emily and Clay's engagement session. They currently live in Birmingham, but drove up for the shoot at their family friend's farm. I've driven by this farm several times so it was really fun to explore the property with them. This couple is so sweet and I can't wait for their wedding next year!
Jessica + Joseph = Cathedral of the Incarnation and The Oak Room
Jessica and Joseph are absolute troopers. They chose a beautiful October date for their wedding. Unfortunately, it was incredibly cold and windy so we did most of the photos inside except for when these brave souls ventured outside to brave the cold for some portraits. I absolutely love this couple. They are so sweet, have amazing families, and are absolutely perfect for each other.
Jenna + John = Battle Mountain Farm Wedding
I feel so blessed that I get to work with couples likes Jenna and John...and it's not just because they are family. They started their wedding day with an intimate time of worship and communion with their closest family and friends. They chose to have their precious wedding day at Battle Mountain Farms which is a beautiful venue hidden in the rolling mountains of Tennessee.
Mallory + Steve = Cedarwood Wedding
I first met Mallory and Steve at a local coffee shop in East Nashville which is where these California transplants decided to build their new life together in my favorite city in the world. Mallory is an amazing dancer, and even though I like to tear it up at wedding receptions. I was had a faster connection with Steve because he is a drummer...definitely a much better drummer than myself..but a drummer non the less.
