I was lucky enough to get connected with Rebecca + Eric through mutual friends and past clients Sarah + Kevin. The Nashville Snowpocalypse arrived on the date we scheduled their engagement session but we decided it would be fun to go out and take photos anyway. I'm so glad we did!! We had a blast and I learned I love shooting in the snow.
Ann Chapman and Michael are such a sweet couple, and I had so much fun shooting their beautiful wedding at Scarritt Bennett. The ceremony started 6pm, and without a first look we did almost all of the photos after the sun had already set. It was fun to get back into my off camera flash roots and challenge myself to be creative in the dark.
I liked this couple from the first few seconds we spent together grabbing coffee at Barista Parlor. I knew their wedding was going to be a blast, and I was also really excited about getting to travel up to Chicago, one of my favorite cities, for their wedding. They had their killer reception at an amazing golf course called Royal Melbourne Country Club which was the perfect spot to grab some beautiful portraits before heading in to the dance party.
