Beth + David = Nashville Wedding

Beth + David are definitely the smartest couple I have ever photographed.  They are both Doctors and met while in Medical School at Vanderbilt which is exactly where we went to take some shots of them after the wedding which made me really excited...not only because it is where they met, but also because it has a gorgeous campus.  Besides being smart they are also super sweet and know how to have a good time at a wedding reception.  Many of their guests flew in from Michigan and Kentucky which made the day even more special because everyone was so excited to be here.

Jenni + John = Mint Springs Farm Engagement

Jenni + John

Jenni + John are getting married at the amazing Mint Springs Farm later this year later this fall but we also got to shoot their engaement there.  This was my first time at this venue and I am in love with this place.  Jenni and John are such a fun and sweet couple and I had a blast with them on the shoot.  I will be sharing more photos very soon.

Storms Will Come

I love the couples that I work with.  All of their weddings seem to be about the marriage and not the wedding.  This is especially true for Sarabeth and Payton.  Even with an epic storm rolling in they were totally calm and laid back.  Nothing was ruined because at the end of the day they would sill be husband and wife.  

This photo reminded me of John 16:33 "In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart, because I have overcome the world."  Life will inevitably get messy and hard, maybe even seemingly impossible at times,  but a marriage centered around Christ will survive these storms and grow deeper in Him and towards each other through these trials.
