Had an awesome time with these two today!

I've been received some messages and emails lately asking about some of my gear. I don't want to go into a full "What's in My Bag" blog post right now but thought I would share one of my two favorite lenses...the 85mm f/1.4. This lens is awesome for portraits and it opens up all the way to f/1.4 which is great for Shallow Depth of Field and low light situations.

You won't have to look at too many of the photos below before you realize how fun Lauren and Jeremy are to hang out with. I love couples that can laugh with each other and be silly. This session definitely takes the cake for the most balloons I have ever used on a shoot, but I think it was totally worth it. I need to give a special shout out to Lauren and Jeremy's friends that helped out with this shoot because there is no way I could have blown up and then popped so many balloons if they hadn't been there to help. We started their engagement session at the Omni Hotel and then headed over to Vanderbilt where Lauren went to school.
I have some awesome/talented friends. Two of those friends are Tyler and David over at Yeah Yeah Creative. About 2 months ago I got to help them out with a music video for the amazingly talented Maggie Rose. I did the lighting for the video. It was such a fun day and I loved getting to collaborate with other creatives to make this happen. Here are stills I snapped and the music video:
