Engagement

Rachel + Cory = Nashville Engagement Session

I can't wait to photograph this awesome couple;s wedding later this year.  Rachel and Cory are a super sweet couple and I really enjoyed getting to spend the day with them.  They get extra cool points for braving the 90 degree heat.  We started the shoot at Union Station because it was shaded and also happens to be the place they are having their wedding.  We then headed around downtown Nashville and finished up around Steeple Chase.  Cory is a golfer so we ended the shoot on the golf course.  I had to chase down a teenager who was apparently very confused by my request to borrow his putter for a few photographs.  The awkward interaction was well worth the results.  Rachel isn't very good at golf but I'm confident she will get better with a few more lessons from her future husband.

Katie + Paul Engagement Session

Katie + Paul have great Chemistry.  All pun intended.  I had do much fun with this awesome couple and their 'outside the box' engagement shoot.  Katie and Paul stood next to each other in Chemistry lab for a long long time before Paul finally got the guts to talk to her.  They were both Science majors at MTSU so we started the shoot where they started their relationship.  When Katie first mentioned the idea of including science in the engagement shoot I wasn't sure how far they would go with the theme, but I was pleasantly surprised when they were as excited as I was about lab coats, beakers, and fake chemical substances.

Maranda + Matt - Nashville Engagement Session

Maranda and Matt are such a great couple and I can't wait for their wedding this fall.  I knew it was going to be a fun shoot when we discovered are shared interest in good music and locally brewed beer.  We started the shoot around Marathon Village, where Matt survived a Bumble Bee attack (it tried to fly into his brain via his ear canal), and then we headed out to some top secret outdoor locations that have beautiful light around sunset.  Enjoy the photos!

Heather + Tyler

I got to spend last Friday with Heather and Tyler for their engagement session.   We started out at Centennial Park which is where Tyler proposed to Heather on a cold but magical evening last winter.  We then headed over to my dream house in Kingston Springs.  A family that Heather baby sits for let us use their amazing farm house for the shoot.  This place was straight out of a magazine and I am starting a new savings account in hopes that I will one day purchase this amazing property.  I had so much fun with you guys and can't wait for your wedding this December!
