I love photographing engagement sessions out of town, especially when it involves beautiful people and the cutest dog in America. Jenny and Peter had to lead the way when it came to locations since I had never been to Lexington before. We started the session at the University of Kentucky Arboretum, shot some downtown, and then ended the day at Kennland.
Ashley + Lee are such an amazing couple and I had a blast with them on their engagement session. We started out at Vanderbilt's Peabody campus where Ashley obtained her Masters in Education. She fell in love with the campus during her time there. I always love getting to use locations that have special meaning to couples.
Ellen and John are such an amazing couple and I think we had a blast on the shoot...I know I did. This is a really girlie thing to say, but I loved the dresses she picked out for the shoot. If you are thinking about what to wear for your engagement session take some notes on their sweet threads. We started the session downtown, then headed over to a newly discovered abandoned building in East Nashville, and finished up in a magical field. I'm so happy for you guys and can't wait to photograph the wedding!
I love dogs. Libby + Shane love dogs too, but especially their super awesome dog Finely. We started the session by taking Finely on a stroll through Sevier Park and then headed to several different downtown and outdoor locations around Nashville. Libby + Shane are getting married on October 11th which for whatever reason has been the most popular date for me this year based upon emails from couples. I'm glad they booked early and I get to spend their wedding day with them. They are an amazing and genuine couple and I can't wait for their wedding!
